Ethanol and Biodiesel Blending Systems

Blenders
Chemtec biofuel blenders are flexible in design and offer a wide range of component selection. Unlike competing products that are highly inflexible, Chemtec biofuel blenders are designed to meet all user defined specifications for product design, flow meter, control valve, and controller selection. The flexible design ensures that each blender meets the requirements of the project - not the blending limitations of the manufacturer. Each blender is designed to provide the user with a prefabricated, complete, stand-alone solution for blending ethanol. Chemtec blenders provide for 1-4 streams and may be fabricated in the vertical or horizontal plane. Blend control may be provided by the Chemtec MicroPAC blend controller or a customer specified controller.

Pump SkidsDual Ethanol Pump Skid.jpg
For ethanol blenders to work properly, the ethanol supply pumps must be sized for the specific application. Chemtec ethanol pump skids are designed to provide the proper flow rate and pressure for ideal blender operation. Chemtec ethanol pump skids are typically built with centrifugal pumps and include all interconnecting piping and valves. Skid framework is galvanized and all piping is powder-coated thereby creating a high-quality and long lasting finish.
All manufacturing and testing is performed at Chemtec’s modern facility located fifty miles north of Houston,
Texas. Quality is ensured since all structural welding, pipe welding and product assembly is performed by
qualified and experienced Chemtec employees.

Ethanol Off-Loading SkidsOffloadingSkid.jpg
Historically, terminals have relied on the shippers BOL to determine the volume of ethanol delivered into a terminal. Due to reconciliation issues, however, terminals are now installing metering equipment to validate the shipper's BOL. Chemtec ethanol off-loading skids provide an accurate, easy to use method for off-loading ethanol from tanker trucks.

Features
- Each skid supports up to four off-loading arms
- Product "log" is designed to maintain flooded suction to pump
- AccuLoad preset provides east-to-use driver interface.
